Businessman, ex-general head for Guatemala vote runoff/ Alvaro Colom obtiene el 27% de los votos y Otto Pérez Molina el 25%, hasta ahora.



A businessman who vows to tackle poverty and an ex-general who wants to get tough on thugs are both heading toward a runoff in Guatemala's presidential election, official returns showed Monday. With 76 percent of the votes counted, Alvaro Colom led the pack of candidates with 28 percent, followed by retired general Otto Perez Molina with 25 percent.
