Ramón Espinasa, a former PDVSA chief economist, said in a report obtained by BNamericas the state company's production has fallen a third since 2000. Espinasa puts PDVSA's total production at 1.89Mb/d and the country's total output at 2.35Mb/d as of April 2007.
