Whether one agrees with the move of the Caricom countries to seek to align themselves with Venezuela and its President Hugo Chavez, one thing is certain and that is the regional leaders have decided a Caricom/Venezuela alliance is one that should be followed through with, as it promises to reap dividends for the region.
