Safety of nonstop flights to US from Venezuela questioned/ EEUU advierte contra vuelos desde Venezuela

Air travelers flying on nonstop services from Venezuela to the U.S. will soon be issued advisories that the security on board those flights cannot be assured by U.S. officials. Venezuela will not permit access to security systems in place at the country’s four main international airports so that security can be assessed. This is a requirement established by the U.S. government after the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001, for all international airports handling nonstop service to U.S. airports.
