Ser víctima de un crimen no le da a uno el derecho de cometer otro. Aquí se intervino activa y descaradamente, como se está haciendo ahora en otros países de América Latina. Pero eso no me da derecho a intervenir. Como demócrata respeto al pueblo venezolano y no le voy a dar lecciones atacando a quien ejerce el poder. Creo que sí hay reserva de conciencia democrática e inteligencia social como para comprender cuál debe ser un mejor resultado para Venezuela. Un resultado que evite su aislamiento, su condición de país monoproductor y su rompimiento con otros países del Continente bajo la amenaza de no ayudar con petróleo o dinero. El pueblo venezolano tiene en su historia muchos ejemplos como para tomar una buena decisión (información completa) / To be a victim of a crime do not give you any right to commit another one. In Perú, there was active and evident intervention, as now it is happened in other countries of Latin America. But that does not give me right to intervine. As democrat I respect the Venezuelan people and I am not going to give lessons attacking the one who exerts power. I believe that there is reserve of democratic conscience and social intelligence as to understand which must be a better result for Venezuela. A result that avoids its isolation, its condition of monoproducer country and its isolation with other countries of the Continent under the threat of not helping with petroleum or money.
