España merece otra política exterior / Spain deserves a better foreign policy

España no puede seguir como hasta ahora: proyectando la imagen exterior de un país empequeñecido que no tiene claro dónde está ni con quién quiere estar. Decisiones como la retirada unilateral de nuestras tropas de Irak; propuestas como la Alianza de Civilizaciones y gestos de buena voluntad hacia dictaduras como la de Fidel Castro, o gobiernos caudillistas como el de Hugo Chávez, conducen al descrédito entre los países occidentales de nuestro entorno. Decisions like the unilateral retirement of our troops from Iraq; proposals as the Alliance of Civilizations and gestures of good will towards dictatorships as the one of Fidel Castro, or to "caudillist" governments as the one of Hugo Chávez, lead to a discredit among the western countries of our surroundings.
